Plenty of activity at Hand2Hand lately!
It has been a busy and exciting period for Hand2Hand (H2H), with many different activities and pleasant experiences. At the same time, we continue our important humanitarian work both in Norway and abroad.
Lately we have had several assignments renting out sound equipment, which helps raise income for our humanitarian projects.
One of the highlights was when Elling himself, played by Per Christian Ellefsen, visited Kokkekollektivet in Halden and served traditional flesk og duppe. It was a wonderfully pleasant evening with good food, humour and many smiles. It was especially nice that participants from our own photo group also got to join and experience this special evening.
At the same time, we continue collecting for new aid shipments to Ukraine. We are still seeing great generosity, and it is wonderful to see how many people want to contribute. Every single gift, large or small, means a great deal to people living in very difficult conditions.
Music is also an important part of Hand2Hand's work. New recordings in Romania are now coming up, in collaboration with our good friends and musicians there. Through the music we want to spread our message of humanity, care and the importance of looking after one another. We have also held a volunteer workday at our sound warehouse, where we tested and lubricated the speakers and tidied up the cables.
We want to extend a big thank you to all the volunteers, partners and supporters who make this possible.
Together we can make a difference – one helping hand at a time! ❤️
