H2H's photo group starts up again after summer
After a well-deserved summer break, H2H looks forward to starting a new season of our popular photo group in collaboration with the Activity Centre in Halden.
The photo group is an offer where community, creativity and mastery are at the centre. Through photography, participants get the chance to learn new skills, challenge themselves and experience nature, culture and events through the camera lens. At the same time, a safe social environment is created where everyone is seen and included.
For H2H, the project is about far more than taking good pictures. The activity contributes to a better quality of life and can be an important contribution to better mental health. When people meet around a shared interest, friendships, confidence and belonging are built. Many find that being part of an inclusive community brings motivation, joy and a sense of mastery in everyday life.
Over the past years, the photo group has taken part in a range of exciting assignments and outings. Participants have experienced everything from concerts and local events to historical sites and nature experiences. Each activity brings new experiences and the opportunity to grow both as a photographer and as a person.
H2H looks forward to a new season with both familiar and new participants. Together we will create great experiences, learn from each other and show how volunteering, community and creativity can make a positive difference.
